An industry first, Platinum Club was launched in October 2007 and offers handset and accessory partners exclusive rewards and manufacturer insights in exchange for UK product loyalty and the achievement of agreed volume targets.
The Platinum Club was not developed as a short-term promotion but rather, a new way of doing business, based on sound commercial principles. We believe this long term solution of sharing information, industry knowledge and experience can only be beneficial for all stakeholders.
Membership to the Platinum Club is by invitation only and will be limited to partners who demonstrate commitment to the club, sales volume and quality sales channels. Nokia, Sony Ericsson, LG, Samsung, HP and Acer have all shown their commitment and belief in its success by signing up and providing resources and investment in return for incremental sales.
The Platinum Club is aimed at bringing manufacturers and partners closer together for mutual benefit and creating 'Virtual Direct Relationships'. The concept is a shift away from the simple model of distribution towards enhanced partnership programmes for sustainable development. To work, the Platinum Club requires all stakeholders to support the initiatives and work towards common goals.
