Objective

To support the launch of Sony Ericsson's flagship Android device, the X10. Also, to generate additional awareness and incremental sales of the X10 and Vivas.

Activity

To support the Vivas, A1 Communications created a Home page banner advertising the Sony Ericsson Vivas. This Home page banner allowed for massive exposure during the month and accounted for 150 000 impressions.

To support the X10, A1 Communications sent out a 'Refer a friend' email campaign which was deployed to 2,000 consumers . The targeted nature of the email campaign ensured that the eshot reach the relevant target market and resulted in additional sales of the product.

Results

This two pronged attack showed a massive uptake from consumers leading to significant sales uplift. The total sales across both devices achieved 123% of target.
